03-04 February 2021
We are proud to announce that we will be partnering with the Institute of Chartered Foresters for a 2 day online conference exploring and showcasing research on urban greenspaces.
We would like to invite urban foresters, landscaping professionals, architects, environment managers and more to come together to deliver against sustainable development targets and aim for progress towards a carbon-neutral world. The recent global pandemic has exposed many systemic weaknesses in urban environments, and this event offers a platform for greater understanding and exploration as researchers from across the globe showcase their work in urban greenspace.
We will be hosting our own Urban Trees and Biodiversity Session, focusing on how much we know about urban trees supporting biodiversity in urban areas and how trees play a part in urban planning. We have two guest speakers, Dr Corey Callaghan Marie-Curie Postdoctoral Research Fellow, German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research and Rachel Oh,PhD Student, University of Queensland.
Please sign up and register if you are interested, you can find out more here.
