Forest Resilience, Tipping Points and Global Change Processes

By Niels BrouwersJoE Special Feature

An exciting new Special Feature has been published by the Journal of Ecology (‘Forest Resilience, Tipping Points and Global Change Processes’, Volume 103, Issue 1, 2015), which was the result of a symposium that was held at the INTECOL 2013 conference in London. This symposium was kindly supported by the BES Forest Ecology Group.

This Special Feature includes seven papers and aims at fostering a better understanding of forest resilience and the approach of potential tipping points under local and global environmental change. Further information can be found on the Journal of Ecology blog and the Special Features webpage. The articles can be downloaded free.

This Special Feature was initiated and edited by Dr Niels Brouwers from the Centre of Excellence for Climate Change, Woodland and Forest Health, Murdoch University, Western Australia, and Dr’s Christopher Reyer, Anja Rammig and Fanny Langerwisch from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany.
